YouGov’s Brand Advocacy rankings are a form of net promoter score and look at the brands’ current and former customers and analyse which one have the highest proportion of people recommending it to friends and families.
YouGov also ranked brands with the most improved levels of customer advocacy. PROTON topped the list, rising by 18.6 points.
The ride-hailing company overtook McDonald’s this year.
Meanwhile, PROTON was listed as the second most improved brand by YouGov, edging out Shopee and Safi which came in third and fourth respectively.
Moreover, approximately 34% of customers in Asia Pacific are more receptive to retailers who minimise their use of packaging while almost a third are more receptive to retailers who are donating towards environmental causes.
