Separately, the airline also launched the “Shred & Fly” campaign to urge the public to shred their unused credit cards in exchange for free flights to any of its 150 destinations.
According to AirAsia, the differential amount will be clearly indicated in the itemised fare as "PSC (Under Protest)".
Meanwhile, MAVCOM said in a press statement that it has yet to be served with any legal documentation on this matter.
