EVP of marketing Schrene Goh told A+M that the stunt is also part of its marketing campaign with The Walt Disney Company for the upcoming Marvel/Avengers special stamp issue.
During her time at Malaysia Airlines, Goh was part of the team that conceptualised and launched the brand campaign “Malaysian Hospitality Begins With Us”.
Goh joined the airline in 2016 from U Mobile.
Malaysia Airlines has clarified that an image of a pork dish which was allegedly featured in the January 2019 edition of its Going Places inflight magazine was actually wagyu beef and squid.
