The automaker plans to sell zero-emission vehicles across a range of price points and segments, power its facilities with renewable energy and work with stakeholders to build a charging infrastructure and promote customer adoption of electric vehicles.
The new BrightDrop brand will debut in early 2022.
The fully loaded version of the brand's first electric vehicle will sell for more than $112,000 and come with a slew of off-roading technology. Production is scheduled to start in late 2021.
The campaign will give customers a closer look at the Hummer and allow them to reserve their vehicle, down to the trim level, for $100.
The program includes 0 percent interest loans, deferred payments and free access to OnStar.
