Meta Launches AI Assistant In India

Meta has launched its AI assistant in India on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, and, revealed the company on June 23. This AI assistant is designed to assist users with tasks, learning, creativity, and communication. In a blog post, the company states that this latest iteration of Meta AI, utilizing Meta Llama 3, offers improved performance and capabilities compared to previous versions. Meta expresses anticipation regarding the potential impact of this technology on users’ daily experiences.

    What Does Meta AI do?

The AI assistant is designed to perform a variety of functions. It offers task assistance, allowing users to request restaurant recommendations, travel suggestions, and help with event planning directly within messaging platforms or group chats. For educational support, the system can generate materials such as multiple-choice tests to aid in study and exam preparation.

Meta AI includes creative tools, notably a text-to-image generation feature called “Imagine,” which allows users to create visual content based on text descriptions. This can be used for tasks like designing mood boards or party invitations. The AI also integrates with social media platforms, enabling users to interact with it to obtain additional information about posts they find interesting while browsing content.

Beyond image generation, the AI can animate static images. It also allows for collaborative editing of image prompts.
