ABHA ID Mandate: Is India’s Healthcare Syste Prepared for Digitising Patient Registration?

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has mandated all medical colleges in India to register patients using their Ayushman Bharat Health Accounts (ABHA IDs). Until November 2023, this call for ABHA registration was only in the form of encouragement through circulars.
