    TV Ratings December 9, 2023: ABC tops entertainment for Saturday thanks to Vera

    ABC’s Vera topped entertainment on Total TV with 733,000 growing by 21%.

    ABC’s Annika saw a growth of 82% for a total audience of 362,000.

    TV Ratings December 9, 2023: ABC tops entertainment for Saturday thanks to Vera

    Seven enjoyed a Saturday night win in the network shares with 17.5% while Nine won in the primary channel shares with 28.7%. GEM won the multichannels with 4.7%.

    Seven’s airing of Border Security – Australia’s Front Line saw 187,000 tune in as the erratic behaviour of a passenger had officers on high alert. Seven also aired the NSW Schools Spectacular 2023 to 153,000. 

    Nine’s airing of A Current Affair saw 356,000 as the program showcased cars being now available to buy at Costco for members with the roll out of in-house dealerships. Nine also aired The Garden Hustle to 164,000 and A Sunburnt Christmas 159,000. 

    On the ABC, Vera saw 400,000 viewers as Vera investigated the murder of a police officer found dead floating in a park lake. All Creatures Great and Small saw 400,000 tune in as James struggled to get farmers to agree to his newly adopted TB testing scheme. 

    10 aired The Dog House to 167,000 as goofball Peaches sent Jane and Alan into a spin while Hetti enjoyed a game of tennis with the Jobanputras to prove that she really is young at heart. 

    SBS aired Britain’s Most Luxurious Train Journeys to 110,000.

    NCIS saw 26,000 tune in while Love It or List it Australia saw 26,000 tune in on the Lifestyle Channel.
