    Introducing new podcast CEO Matters: is the agency-client relationship fit for purpose?

    The Drum’s new podcast, CEO Matters, launches today with an episode hosted by Ross Martin of agency Known, interrogating the frontiers in the agency-client relationship.

    The Drum Network has today launched a new podcast: CEO Matters.

    The podcast is a soapbox for marketing’s best and brightest to shout about the issues shaping the industry and impacting their work. Each episode is hosted by a different leader from the industry, who has selected the topic, invited guests and curated the session themselves (with a little help from The Drum).

    For the inaugural episode, it’s the turn of Ross Martin, president at integrated agency Known. Martin’s bugbear is the present and future of the agency-client relationship. Under the strain of the pandemic and global supply chain issues, that relationship has shifted considerably over the last few years – but are marketers doing enough to steer it in the right direction?

    Martin is joined by two experts: Marla Kaplowitz, president and chief executive officer at marketing trade organization 4A’s; and Jo Cronk, president of creator commerce agency Whalar.
