    Branston Pickle marks 100 years with a luxury makeover

    Branston Pickle is making a play for more discerning palates for its 100th anniversary by creating a ‘luxurious twist’ on its humble recipe.

    Dubbed ’Braviar’, the brand is heralding it as the ultimate addition to any foodie’s armory that’s as at home on a classic cheese sandwich as it is in a swanky restaurant.

    Angharad Wilson Dyer Gough, senior brand manager at Branston, said: “For our 100th birthday we wanted to do something special to mark the occasion and pay tribute to Branston’s iconic status as one of Britain’s best-loved condiments in a unique and unexpected way. We took our iconic taste and created a product that is the epitome of luxury and celebration, offering our fans the chance to experience this unique creation at home and celebrate our 100 years with us.”

    Following in the footsteps of Carlsberg’s caviar beer, the upmarket limited edition makeover is being offered in a fan competition, with jars being dispatched to those who share the most unconventional Branston pairings.
