Influencer is proud to partner with Pinterest, the visual discovery engine and social media platform, to support their latest activation: Black Gold; a month-long initiative in celebration of Black History Month. Black Gold will showcase the full potential of Black creators and business owners, and highlight the amazing things that people are doing in the industry.

During the month of October, Pinterest will be turning their much loved ‘Today Tab’ into a hub of resources; providing users worldwide with educational content, promoting Black creators, business owners, content and products, and showcasing inspiring content boards, shoppable products, and articles.

On 14th October, Pinterest will also be hosting a half-day digital event, which supports Black creators and Black-owned businesses and encourages allies to join the Black History Month celebrations. This is Pinterest UK and Ireland’s first-ever external Black History Month content event, and the activation will provide inspiration, wisdom from seasoned entrepreneurs, and practical business tips from experts on everything from building a sustainable business and brand to how to get investment funding.

Featured speakers include award-winning founders like Sharmadean Reid, Beautystack & Future Girl Corp and Mark Maciver, SliderCuts, barber to Anthony Joshua and Lebron James.
