Dentsu B2B agency gyro has named BBDO creative Theophilues Tan as executive creative director to lead the expansion of its Asia Pacific operation.
He will take over from Mark Chung who gyro said is stepping down after four years for “personal pursuits”.
Tan has spent the last six and a half years at BBDO Singapore. He was made group creative director last December.
Gyro Singapore managing director Laura Bell said: “Our vision for the agency is to change expectations when it comes to the B2B landscape. To do this, we need people with a fresh perspective and passion to achieve greater heights; making Theo the perfect man for the job.”
Chung said in a statement: “I’ve had a great run at gyro and am proud of the creative team and the work we have produced over the years. I’m happy to hand over the creative reigns to Theo who will no doubt be instrumental in driving creative excellence at gyro.”
Tan added: “gyro has been making remarkable waves with its approach in the B2B game. I am therefore excited to take on this role to continue delivering creative business solutions that will further revolutionalise our B2B edge.”
