Scott Munday has been promoted to director of media sales for South East Asia and Pacific at The Economist Group. Jusnita Chang Jacob has been promoted with the mandate of leading sales efforts in Malaysia and Indonesia. She will be based out of Kuala Lumpur.
Munday replaces Yew Nee Lim who has retired and left the organisation.
After a long and successful career in media of which the last 4 years with The Economist Group, Yew Nee Lim, will be retiring and stepping down from the organisation. Scott Munday, will be taking over the role of Director, Media Sales, South East Asia and Pacific, responsible for sales revenue for all Economist Group Media, Content and Events revenue in the region. Scott has been with The Economist Group for 12 years, working in our EMEA and Asia teams in a range of sales roles before taking on this position.
In addition to the above change, we are also happy to announce that Jusnita Chang Jacob will be leading sales efforts in Malaysia and Indonesia, based out of Kuala Lumpur effective 1st April 2019. Jusnita has been with The Economist Group for 4 years and held positions in the sales and marketing team for our media business, based in Singapore. This relocation reflects our enthusiasm for these two markets and the belief that with Jusnita in market, we can better serve our Malaysian clients and partners.
