Digital agency Public Sapient has appointed former Accenture Interactive account director Matt Gillings as its Asia-Pacific marketing manager.
He will be based in Sydney, Australia, but will be responsible for marketing across the APAC region.
A Publicis spokeswoman said: “He will be working closely with the leadership team, new business teams, and client leads to drive awareness of Publicis Sapient as a digital transformation partner within the Asia-Pacific region.”
Gillings previously worked for Accenture Interactive, M&C Saatchi, Jack Morton Worldwide and WPP.
In his student days, he studied marketing at Monash University and Macquarie University.
On his LinkedIn profile, Gillings describes himself as a “strategic marketing and business transformation executive with deep expertise within digital technology and marketing communications”
He adds: “I have extensive experience across B2C and B2B marketing (within an agency, consultancy, and client side).
“I understand the tech, media and advertising landscape and am motivated to drive the success of my client’s business through holistic and strategic digital marketing methodology.”
Publicis Sapient is part of Publicis Groupe and has 20,000 staff in 53 offices around the world. It claims to have a “culture of curiosity and relentlessness”.
