Converse has chosen Burson Cohn & Wolfe as its agency of record in Hong Kong, meaning BCW will manage the public relations and integrated communications strategy for the sports brand.
The win comes on the back of BCW’s work with Converse in mainland China and the agency said it expected to engage to create “content and experiential activations” as part of the deal.
Today, BCW (Burson Cohn & Wolfe), a leading global communications agency, announced its appointment as Agency of Record (AOR) for Converse in Hong Kong.
As the iconic brand continues to grow rapidly, Converse has selected BCW for its proven strategic thinking and integrated marketing capabilities.
As AOR, BCW will manage the public relations and integrated communications strategy for Converse in the market and will focus on building buzz around the company’s brand and product lines, including producing creative content and experiential activations.
“We’ll be working very closely with Converse to help further its impressive growth in Hong Kong, building on the work we’ve done to date in Mainland China,” said George Godsal, Market Leader, BCW Hong Kong.
“Converse is a brand that resonates strongly in Hong Kong and we will be helping to increase its appeal to a broader cross-section of consumers in 2019.”
