She has previously worked with Standard Chartered, Philip Morris and Ogilvy.
Zeno today signaled its full commitment to China by appointing industry veteran Ruby Fu to the newly-created position of President, Zeno China. Most recently, Fu was CEO of Burson-Marsteller in China and before that, spent seven years with Standard Chartered Bank in Taiwan and Hong Kong.
Fu brings more than 30 years of experience in Greater China to her new Zeno role. In her previous corporate and agency positions, she has directed strategic planning and business development, managed a range of cross-border issues, and been instrumental in developing new market entries for clients based in the U.S. and Europe.
Based in Beijing, Fu reports to Margaret Key, Zeno CEO Asia-Pacific. Fu will be responsible for establishing and expanding Zeno’s presence in China, both organically and by acquisition.
“At this time in China’s history, entrepreneurs are celebrated as never before. Zeno has the great entrepreneurial spirit that this market needs and that clients look for and demand in their agencies. I’ve also been drawn to their speed and agility as a mid-sized agency, together with their highly strategic global approach, counselling clients at the highest levels,” Fu said.
“With Ruby now leading our China team, Zeno clients everywhere know that their gateway to this essential market is secure,” CEO Key said. “Ruby brings to Zeno the kind of in-depth, detailed understanding of China that only the most experienced and capable executives can deliver.”
