Publicis India has bagged the business for food company Dr. Oetker. Eight other agencies were believed to be in the fray including Scarecrow, Contract and JWT.

The campaign is scheduled to launch in the first quarter of 2019, according to Publicis, with the initial focus being on spreads, dressing and peanut butter.

Dr. Oetker’s VP of marketing Devarshy R Ganguly said: “As Dr. Oetker India continues to expand and build scale for the western comfort food category, we needed a team that would bring in strategic mindset, disruptive ideas and deliver on the task with passion.
