Orcí, a hispanic-led, full-service marketing agency in Santa Monica, recently hired Javier Güemes as its creative director and Lois Mosgrove as group account director.

Orci, which has catered to clients such as Coca-Cola, Dole, and Honda, called the announcement part of what it calls a "broader expansion of efforts.”

Guemes brings over 30 years of experience, most recently serving as executive creative director for Dieste. He also was a group creative director at Ogilvy. Cosgrove adds two decades of her own, as an account director for McCann’s Casanova offering, as well as working with smaller agencies like Háblame and Sensis. On the brand side, she was the vice president of marketing for parenting site Todobebé.

“With Javier and Lois onboard, we’re ready to take on 2018 and beyond,” said Andrew Orcí, chief executive of the agency. “Both are experienced professionals with a savvy understanding of the US Hispanic market and considerable know-how when it comes to positioning brands for success.”

"Orcí has driven vital change in this industry since its founding by Hector and Norma [Orci, the agency's cofounders] in the mid-80s," said Güemes, "and ?i?t feels great to be a part of the family. They have truly embraced me, and I look forward to continuing our collaboration to generate great, new ideas for our current clients, as well as those yet to come.”

Cosgrove added: "I look forward to sharing my points of view and passion for culture with a team as experienced as Orcí’s, while continuing the firm’s track record when it comes to successful projects and happy clients."
