National Arts Council (NAC) has launched a tender for a media agency to undertake media buying and planning duties for its marketing and communications campaigns. According to Gebiz, the contract date is from 1 April 2018 to 31 March 2019.
The agencies vying for the account are Amobee Asia, Briq, GroupM Singapore, GRVTY Media, Havas Media Asia Pacific, KSMC SG, Vizeum Singapore and ZenithOptimedia.
In an interview with Marketing last year, NAC confirmed that it would be issuing pitch fees to agencies shortlisted in the second stage as it looks for a panel of creative agency partners. This was to ensure reasonable compensation for the agency’s efforts.
Earlier in 2017, NAC appointed X Collective, under the SMRT Commercial arm, to produce the National Arts Council’s A List Singapore. A revamped printed magazine and website was launched, along with a digital content plan.
The council has also worked with Ogilvy & Mather Singapore for public relations duties for a period of one year, with an option to renew an additional year, according to Gebiz. In the same month, NAC also appointed Black Design as its creative partner for selected NAC projects for a period of two years, with an option for renewal.
