Aviva has appointed Edelman Public Relations for regional PR business worth US$200,000. Edelman PR beat competitors Weber Shandwick and Hill & Knowlton to secure the first PR contract that Aviva has awarded to an external agency.
“Edelman will be required to develop a regional media relations strategy and programme for Aviva. It was selected because it demonstrated strategic thinking underscored by a good understanding of Aviva’s needs,” Aviva’s director of brand and corporate affairs, Jessica Lee said.
The appointment is effective immediately and will cover media and investor relations, targeting the pan-region audience including investors, business partners and opinion leaders.
