In Oct 2004, Chris Anderson wrote in an article about “The Long Tail” (Discover the long tail.) Essentially, the article touched on how the internet is changing the face of marketing economics. Previously 20% of products was bought by 80% of consumers. Today, the 80-20 rule is changing. With Niche marketing, the uncommon products will be made mainstream. 100% of products will be sold to 100% of comsumers.
