KAYSERI, Turkey (AP) France made light of the absence of Tony Parker, Joakim Noah, and Mickael Pietrus and pulled off a 72-66 victory over defending world champion Spain on Saturday in the opening round of the FIBA World Championship. If it's any solace, the Spanish team lost its opening game at the soccer World Cup before going to win the title last month in South Africa.
