SAPPORO (Kyodo) Yumiko Hara won her first Hokkaido Marathon on Sunday, cutting the tape in 2 hours, 34 minutes and 12 seconds. Hara, winner of the 2005 Nagoya and 2007 Osaka International Women's Marathons, finished ahead of Hiroko Miyauchi after breaking loose from the 32-km mark.
