The roaring GDP, a soaring Ringgit |
|
|
All politics and no play ... Why don't we talk about the 8.9 percent expansion in our GDP during the 2nd quarter? A little slower than the first quarter's 10.1 per cent, but charging ahead nonetheless. In a nutshell, our Manufacturing sector grew by 15.9 per cent, Services 7.3 per cent, Construction 4.1 per cent, and Agri 2.4 per cent. Malaysia's GDP is expected to expand by more than 6 per cent this year compared with Indonesia 6 per cent, Thailand 7 per cent, India 9.1 per cent, and Singapore 13-15 per cent. I like Op Ed's simple analysis best, read here. |
