This story was related to me by an IFS who is a gay. Let's call him Dear.
Many years ago when he was a young crew, his lover suddenly left him. During one night stop he was so sad he could not sleep tossing around and thinking about his ex lover.
It happened that a batch boy of his by the name of Courteous was also staying at the same hotel. They were both in their early 20's and close buddies.
Over the phone, Dear confided in Courteous about his heartbreaking experience. After listening to Dear, Courteous offered to share room with him so he could lend him a shoulder to cry over.
Dear came over to Courteous's room and cried inconsolably. They shared the same bed that night and Courteous hugged , consoled Dear and lullaby him to sleep. I was told Courteous didn't have his pajamas with him and therefore slept hugging Dear with only his underwear on.
I teasingly told Dear as he related the story that he must have had converted Courteous that night. "No he is as straight as ever even till this day.....he was just being very nice and kind to me,that's all.." Dear replied.
I agreed with Dear concerning Courteous as he is now happily married with a teenage son.
